I will always prefer a spot like Oyster Bar over one of those fancy award-winning spots on the Strip. I actually find 5-star table service uncomfortable and I don't like to dress up, lol. So Palace Station is right up my alley! I feel like the wait time has just expanded immensely over the years, but I will make a note to come for early lunch or early dinner (and def not anytime after midnight). The wait time will vary from 1 hour to 3 and sometimes you think it is short, but the people up front are actually saving spots. Wear your 'I am patient' hat and get ready for some quality eating.
Their pan roasts are the best with their bold, creamy sauce and spicy flavors mixed together into a giant bowl. I literally drool thinking about their food. I like their combo one (seafood) an the palace one (which has sausage). The last time I was here I was hungry when I stood in line, then about to faint from hunger when we sat down two hours later! Luckily, a beer and some time later, Bob saved me with the palace pan roast. SO GOOD.
