| - I decided to wait a few days before posting this review.
I was here on Saturday morning with my boyfriend, and we didn't have a good experience, at all.
This was not our first time experiencing Makers & Finders. Usually we order from Uber Eats and decided to go out for breakfast.
As expected, for a Saturday morning it was busy, and we were told it was a 20 minute wait. That's where problems started, but not on our end. We saw 2 different people leave because they were seated and no one came to them to offer them water, give them a menu or even great them for almost 10 minutes. It took almost 5 minutes for a server to even realize they were gone.
This same thing happened to us when we sat down. The couple next to us were seated even before we got there 25 minutes before, and they hadn't even ordered.
By the time we got our drinks, we had been there for an hour. Neither us nor the tables around us were given spoons for the sugar on the table and had to resort to forks and knives in replacement.
Jacob got the breakfast sandwich, which he said was cold, and dry. It was flavorless, and for us having been sitting there for an hour and a half, were not too thrilled. I got the salmon Benny, which was missing a vital ingredient, salt. The arepa was extremely dense, chewy and bland. My poached eggs were hard in the center, and the mariquitas were unseasoned. The only thing good was our latte's and the breakfast empanadas.
I would not order the food here again. I would not drive here again, I might Uber Eats a latte, but I'd rather go somewhere else for that effort.
Happy Eating!
