| - Stay away!!!!!!!!!!! A local pre-schooler could do a better job.
I stumbled upon this place over a Groupon that was supposedly a 125 dollar value for only 25 dollars. Hook, line and sinker. I specifically asked for a stylist who was exceptionally good at cutting and styling curly/wavy hair. I got there and salon was anything but luxurious. Even the big screen TV couldn't disguise the hospital like atmosphere. There were practice hair heads all over the salon (that weren't very good). I should have turned back then, but I didn't. They did put a deep conditioner on my hair, however, the "massage" was no longer than a minute and did not do what the Groupon promised it would. This whole time I'm trying to treat myself to a relaxing and pampering experience, unfortunately the lady in charge of my hair was too busy lecturing me about their products and why they are best, and what to do and not to do (all things that anyone with hair would already know!). Instead of feeling pampered I felt like I was getting an hour and half sales pitch.
And all that would be bearable if the haircut was at the very least, okay. It wasn't. The lady didn't listen to me at all, she insisted that I could not have long and full curly hair (Which I had before she chopped it off), took off more length than I wanted, and cut my hair in giant chunks. It was like a 3 year old took scissors to my hair. She put nothing for definition on my hair, even when another stylist came over to suggest another way of doing things she insisted on her own way, which ended with me holding back tears, styling my own hair, and running out of the salon before I lost it. She continued to let my hair dry and then re-wet it about a million times, and my hair looked far worse than before I sat down in that awful chair. I wish there was a way to give this place a 5 negative starts.
As if that weren't enough, the stylist knowing I was unhappy had the nerve to give me her business card, and told me that If i didn't like it, to take notes daily on my hair, then come back to her. Her rationale was that she was the one who cut it, so only she would know what she did, and after reading my notes would be able to fix it. She didn't offer to give me a refund, or another free haircut, she just let me leave the salon looking like that!! And then had the nerve to tell me not to go to anyone else? My goodness. She was far from confident in her abilities from the moment she greeted me, I should have trusted my gut and walked the heck out before all hell broke loose.
