  • I had come here for a colour, and had booked an appointment almost 3 weeks in advance for a level 1 stylist. One day before my appointment, I received a call saying they had to cancel because their junior stylist had quit and there was no one available. I was quite astonished that they wouldn't even offer the levels higher and would cancel. I insisted that hey book me in for anyone (I had purposely taken the day off and I couldn't be off for any other days in the near future). I was eventually booked with their highest level stylist - and had to pay their premium. Regardless, I went into the salon the next day and when I had tried to explain what I wanted and my hair situation to the stylist, he pretty much rolled his eyes at me in frustration that I had used boxed dyes. He told me he didn't know what the outcome would be and that it would be hard to lift colour from my hair because it was so dark. Throughout the colouring process, he made some comments that was pointed towards my race. I thought it was quite unprofessional and I don't think I'll ever come back because of this experience. I found the stylist to be unprofessional and he didn't know his stuff! My hair lifted quite well and he ended up commenting that he was surprised my hair was so strong.
