  • My babygirl recently was diagnosed with Pyometra. I was given a $2500 quote from another vet in Laveen who wanted to do emergency surgery, but I chose to get a second opinion. Glad I did, because Dr. Evans at Southside had the compassion, professionalism and care that I was looking for in order to leave my baby in the best of hands for such a serious surgery at an old age. (8+ years mastiff mix). I only paid $1300 for the surgery when I was quoted $1600 - $1900. Shows their level of genuine courtesy and fairness, because they could have still charged me the higher $1900 and I would've still paid it, but I'm happy they are honest and respectable. This place came to be by several different referrals in the Laveen area and I'm glad that I made a choice to visit them. My dog had her surgery and appears to be ok now. Thanks to the great work of Southside Animal Hospital and their staff. God Bless!
