| - We first came into Jaguar North Scottsdale about two weeks ago. We were considering some vehicles in the compact SUV market and specifically wanted to look at the Range Rover Evoque and the new Jaguar F-Pace.
We called into the dealership to set up a test drive of both vehicles. Caelen Armijo answered our phone call and we set up an appointment with him a few hours later. When we got to the dealership he immediately greeted us and showed us some of the vehicles. He was very accommodating and really listened to what we were looking for in a car. With our list of needs/wants he helped us narrow down our car search and we started our test drive with the Evoque.
During the test drive Caelen was awesome. Just the right balance of telling us some of the car features and shutting up to let us experience the ride ourselves. We thoroughly enjoyed the Evoque, but thought it was a little small for what we were looking for, so we did a test drive of the F-Pace.
After the test drive we decided we did like the F-Pace more than the Evoque, but there were some features we were hoping to get that the vehicle we test drove didn't have. Caelen did a database search of all Jag dealerships in the southwest to help our search. It turns out they had one vehicle in the back that fit most of our needs and wants. Caelen gave us the keys and let us sit inside by ourselves for a while. We immediately fell in love with the car but decided we needed some time to think on it and test out some of the competition (namely the Porsche Macan and BMW X6). Caelen totally understood, we exchanged contact information and he let me know he would be in contact with us in the coming days.
A few days later Caelen gave us a call to see how our other test drives went. We were open with him, let him know we did enjoy the other cars but hadn't made a decision yet. He said no problem, and that he'd call again next week to see how we're doing.
The following week we got a phone call on Thursday from Caelen, asking if we've decided on a car or if we were still interested in the F-Pace. I worked some of the numbers out with Caelen on the phone and agreed to an out the door price pending another test drive of the car. He also asked if I wanted to finance through them, but I mentioned I had financing through my bank. He said they could probably beat my rate at the dealership, so he ran my credit and got me a finance rate below what my bank had offered.
We scheduled another test drive for Friday, and when we got there the car pulled up on the showroom floor! He pulled the car off the showroom and we took a drive. We were sold and immediately sat down to do the paperwork.
The buying process was very smooth. Caelen took my DL and insurance information and then showed my fiance how to use all of the car features while I went to the finance office to sign all of the paperwork. We were in and out of the dealership in about an hour after our test drive.
The overall process was super smooth and enjoyable. We received some superior customer service from Caelen, never felt pressured, and felt like he really wanted us to find the car that we wanted.
Jaguar really takes care of its customers, they even schedule someone to come to your house a few days after purchase to make sure you understand how to use all of the car's advanced features. Thank you Jag North Scottsdale, it has been a great experience.
