| - Where's the mint??? Seriously, though, Indian food is supposed to be flavorful and spicy (not necessarily hot). The lunch buffet at Mint seemed mild and dull (the chicken tikka masala was a little sharp and acidic). The pakodas were disappointing. You batter and deep fry things to make them crunchy. The pakodas are stored in a closed dish, and they get soggy very quickly.
That aside, nothing is really bad at Mint. The naan was fresh and crispy. The plain rice was nice and flaky, no stick. You'll find staple items such chili pickles, tandoori chicken, and dal.
The restaurant has trendy decor, music, a big screen TV, and a self serve bar. Mint would probably be a great place for dinner. For lunch, it's too dark and closed in. There are other Indian lunch buffets that are cheaper with better food.
