  • The gem of State street is Nick's. The exterior is unassuming, but the interior is like stepping back in time. Nick's is not quite a supper club, not a standard pub, but a classic restaurant with reasonable prices and a simple menu. The Greek influence is found in many of the entrees but stands out the most in the soup. It's indescribable! The tangy coleslaw is a close second. The staff is attentive and the Old Fashioneds are served in the classic Wisconsin style. Make it a point to stop into Nick's if attending an Orpheum show, or after a trip down State.
