  • My dad was in town one day & it was a little while after Fathers Day so I decided to treat him to Marvel Avengers Station since it's hard to shop for old man gifts (sorry dad) & I knew he liked some of the movies. I didn't tell him ahead of time & he was really stoked about it when we walked across the street to the station after we got lunch at the Fashion Show Mall. I really had no idea what to expect because I had only seen mini previews on MORE (That one local entertainment show) which I had not really paid any attention too so we both went into it blindly. The theme is that you get "briefed" at the beginning with some Walkie looking things & are about to start your training" to be an agent of Shield. Once you're in it's basically an interactive museum full of movie props, photo ops, games, quizzes you can do with your Walkie thing ( sorry for lack of better wording & laziness to look it up), and & more. I was not really expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised... it was pretty dope! I mean I'm a fan of some of the movies but I'm not a mega fan or anything. My favorite Marvel movies are the Thor films & they had a really cool section dedicated to that. You can even try to grasp Mjolnir if you have the strength... my dad & I cracked up when we couldn't get it but some dude after us managed to pull it out. They have interactive areas from a lot of the movies such as Ant Man, the Hulk, Iron Man, & more. The people working there are also very quirky & play along with the whole Agent's thing the entire time you are there. We had a great time. A little pricey $30 something ish dollars per person but it's not something you're going to be doing a hundred times over (I mean unless you really love it!) so for us it was well worth the one time experience & I was happy that my dad really enjoyed his Father's Day date. & there is quite a bit to see & do inside which I had not expected. I'd even come back if there was an occasion to lead me to do so. Fun stuff & definitely a must do for super hero nerds & comic book lovers. Also the only reason why this place got 4 instead of 5 is because we encountered this manager dude named John who was kind of a prick. Just overall no personality, like he was too cool for us when we asked a few questions. Never understand why people like that end up with customer service jobs. Had we not met him our experience would be a 10 out of 10! But it's all good, we had a great time regardless.
