  • Nothing but love for Barriques. I pledge allegiance at the Monroe street location and get nothing but great service and quality beverages. Yesterday, I ventured to the Middleton location and was pleasantly surprised by the space! That's one drawback of the Monroe location...its pretty quant and gets busy fast since it's near campus. The Middleton location was busy but had plenty of seating, and a fireplace! Perfect for watching the snow fall. :) I usually go for the Jade Cloud green tea kettle when I'm posting up to study for awhile. Rishi tea is bomb quality, and for around $2 you can enjoy a whole kettle in their cozy shop. The nice baristas will also happily fill up your kettle with more hot water, giving you even more bang for your buck. The cowboy cookies are also a worthwhile treat...they're huge!! After 7pm (I think), Barriques puts their baked goods 1/2 price. Totally worth it as a little study sesh pick me up.
