  • I had high hopes for The Asbury. It was rated well and the food seemed like it would be right up my alley - small plates, farm to table, etc. However, the food that came out was pretty average in my opinion. We ordered the beef brisket to share, brussel sprouts, soup, and crispy potatoes, and everything tasted okay, but for the prices seriously under delivered. The atmosphere and decor of the restaurant was also a bit dated and stodgy. In my opinion, if you're looking for good southern food in Uptown, go to Kings Kitchen - you'll have a better experience.
