indeed, very good flaky buttery and fresh made on the spot croissants. the choice of items is limited (4 to 6 bakeries) but you do not go there for multiple choices. staff / owners are friendly and professional and know their staff and job.
in the top 5 of croissants in Toronto for sure. some days you may expect to line up for 20 minutes or come too late when they are out of stock. could be smaller lines up if they stopped selling coffee...
to be more critical: very flaky and crunchy outside croissants, fluffy and buttery inside but maybe a little bit too heavy on the butter (i like buttery but 5% less might be enough... and would allow you to eat it while walking... for now, difficult to do as you would have extremely oily fingers then) and although it is light weight, it is surprisingly a little bit hard to pull apart.
