I wish I could give 3 1/2 stars but I'll err on the side of compliments. I have stayed at the other Hampton property in Henderson before and was pleased overall. This property (on Astaire) looks a little worn and long in the tooth if you look closely. It was very hot outside for the week I stayed, and although the room was cool and comfortable, the elevator was like an oven. Clearly not insulated. Also, the hot water in the hotel failed at 7 AM so I had to head out without a shower and shave. Really screwed up my schedule, but the staff were courteous and responded by giving me a very late checkout time to make up for the hot water fail, which helped me re-schedule my business. On a better day, and with a few minor tweaks, this place could earn a solid 4 stars. Bonus: very pet friendly, my cat approves.
