What a unique experience!
We stopped by to try the yerba mate and got to see on one of the two tables outside. Though we ordered two, we learned later that it's meant to be shared and they took back one. How nice not to be upsold unnecessarily. Anyway, we got a full explanation and how it is served and I liked the authentic cups and filtered straw. It just added to the experience. The tea itself was pretty bitter, but definitely unlike any tea I've had. It went really well with a little sugar. Each serving got us around 10 cups which only gave us a few sips per cup.
