  • Robco Electric is a great rooftop solar company!!! We did a lot of research and Robco was less expensive than Bombard and way cheaper than SolarCity! We got a 5-star product with five star service for a bargain price! They are a relatively small company which is why their prices are so competitive but we are confident that they will be around for a long time because they already survived the rooftop solar slump over the last couple of years due to their regular electrical branch of their company growing steadily. Tim Webb our project manager was excellent as well as the installation crew. They really went above and beyond the Call of Duty on several occasions. For example they painted the conduit that brings the electrical wiring down from the roof to the control panel to match the color of the house which other companies do not do. They let me go up on the roof to watch them install the brackets under the tile so I could see how they waterproofed them and they were really waterproof! They had to remove a small tree that was close to our electrical box and actually offered to replant it somewhere else for me! We also enjoyed a complimentary bottle of Robco wine on completion of the installation. We have never being treated like this by any other contractor and it just exemplifies the extraordinary quality of this company. Now I can sit back in my garden and admire my solar panels and it's fun watching the electrical production live on the app on my phone. I'm producing more than twice what the house is using at the moment and banking my credits with NV Energy to use during the summer months when the AC is cranking! I estimate the payback time at nine years but I'm sure I have already added more than that value to the house. I feel like I'm doing my share now to help the environment and I also have a good reason to look forward to those hot summer months now instead of dreading them! So go solar and go Robco!
