  • I've definitely lived in better homes. This place was presented great when I had my first walk in but after living in my one bedroom unit I quickly started to see the peel coming off in my cabinets. I thought it was ware and tear but they assured me I was the first to live in the unit. What had me excited to move in was that they said they would waive my second month for signing a year contract. So of course I did but second month came by and they never even mentioned it. Another factor I called about it and they said whoever said that doesn't work there anymore and they wouldn't waive it for me. Weeks later things were going well until I had a friend who moved to Vegas and needed a room so I signed papers to get two bedroom for another year. During the moving process they forgot I'd be moving on the 1st of December and had to push it back to the 3rd B/c they forgot to clean the carpets. Weeks later from then I receive a phone call from a collection call saying I owed Elysian money and they were their to make their cut. I rushed to the office and spoke with the manger and they failed to inform me they had to charge $100 to clean my carpets since I had a dog. The fee would of have been paid on move out if they just informed me! A few months later they lost my roommates check and tried to evict us for THEIR mistake after showing them the copy of his check written out to them. A Drawer ripped off && my bathroom medicine cabinet shattered. The entire year and some months they failed to add my roommate to the gate call box (not like it ever worked) and now that we're finally out they sent us a letter stating we had to replace all the carpets in the unit for $2700 !! I would understand if there was an excessive amount of damage but I have receipts from hiring a carpet cleaner to come in and clean more then once not to mention I have my OWN carpet cleaner! It's not the actual apartment complex that was a bad experience it was having to deal with an unorganized staff. They could of have done a much better job communicating with their residents.
