  • Popcorn Girl is a great addition to this part of town. It's in the Walmart (near Cugino's and Salted Malted) shopping center. I've been by more than once and am always welcomed with a friendly greeting when I enter the store by the employees. They will let you sample anything on the menu, so don't be afraid to ask. Some of the flavors like Strawberry Cheesecake or Lemon Meringue don't sound so great in a popcorn flavor, but trying a sample of some of these not so common popcorn flavors will let you know if you would like it and would actually buy it for yourself or someone else that you think might like it. I tried the Lemon Meringue and was surprised at how good it was! I'd have never bought any in the future had I not just tried it. They have popcorn in bags, tins, pails, etc. and it comes in a variety of sizes: Mini - 3 cups Junior - 6 cups Small - 9 cups Medium - 26 cups Large - 42 cups X-Large - 110 cups Party - 275 cups Prices range depending on what type of popcorn you want. Looking at the menu I noticed they have about 60 different flavors to choose from. You can get 3 cups of cheese popcorn for $1.95 and not only do they make the popcorn in-house, but they use real cheese. When it comes to the caramel corn the caramel is made from scratch with a secret recipe. Also they have kettle corn and a variety of candied and chocolate popcorn. I personally really liked the Strawberry Patch flavor, it tasted like crunch berries, yum! They also make homemade fudge in different flavors and they have taffy. A great and affordable place to stop and pick up a snack for yourself or a gift for someone else. I'll be back often!
