I haven't even moved in yet. I signed a lease based on the model, as the actual unit was occupied. They are only allowing me to see the unit the day before my contract actually begins. I had some concerns about that and called cooperate. A woman, I believe her name is Rema based in the San Diego office, was incredibly evasive when I asked about move out charges. I asked her four times if the $300 estimate on paint was charged to the tenant...when I got more forceful and told her you are clearly not understanding my question, she hung up on me. Unprofessional to say the least, shady as hell to go a step further. When I contacted the local office with my concerns about the apartment not being up to the standard of the model and the fact that I can't even see the unit until the day before the contract begins, they told me if I was dissatisfied with the unit I was still financially responsible for the contract....SHADY!!!! I have red flags going off like crazy about this company.
