| - What an awful bunch of people who work here, especially if you are going to mail something, as they are an authorized USPS mail center.
I was planning on going to the St. Rose Post Office but looked on Google Maps and saw this place was right next door so I went. Pulled up at 9:30 AM and began to walk over. A girl (taller, skinny, white) opened the door right then and propped it open. I go in with my package to the USPS counter and the girl, who has gone back to a computer behind the counter, tells me that I shouldn't even be in there yet and they're not open, but if I wait a few minutes she'll help me.
I look down at the counter and it even says on the counter the USPS station there opens at 9:30 AM, so I am confused. She updates me a couple more times while she is doing stuff, every time repeatedly telling me that she's not open yet. I wait a few minutes and then another girl (shorter, black) comes in and starts on another register. The two girls begin talking and the tall girl starts complaining about how the boss called her in to work at 4 AM, and the short girl says she's 20 minutes late, etc.
After another few minutes (I've now been there a total of nearly 15 minutes) the tall girl comes over and says she has to count her register and that will take a few minutes and then she will help me and that they don't really open until 10. I get fed up with it and tell her I'm just going to the St. Rose Post Office to mail my package, but their door was open and the sign says they open at 9:30 AM. She says that's wrong and they need to fix that.
My package already had postage on it and everything. I told her at the beginning I just needed to drop the package off and later on that the package already had postage on it. She could have just taken it and processed it later when they did open, whenever the hell that is.
Fire that girl, please. I hope a manager reads this and gets rid of her. She was working at 9:30 AM on March 30, 2015, was white and the taller of the two employees there at that time. I thought I heard someone in the back but I'm not sure and I never saw that person.
