  • Was pretty nervous about calling this place because of all the horrible reviews here. Nevertheless, their website was kind of nifty--when it was working which was only two out of five times that I obsessively checked it earlier in the day even though I wouldn't need a ride until after work--showing a quote, locations and distance/times of a potential cab, the ability to request now or later and by car type. I didn't book on the site due to worry about confirmation/functioning and the fact that I didn't want to put my info into an automated system. Instead, I waited until I was about ready to go and I called on the phone. The dispatcher semi-politely (disinterested and apathetic, at best) took my info, informed me of a general timeframe, and said to stay inside until I got a call from the cab when they were out front. Great! I did a couple more office errands since I had eleven minutes (yes, that specific) but saw two missed calls four minutes later. Oh, so, maybe not 11 minutes. Well, I don't know how to work my office phone so I packed up and let them call me a third time where it was a woman who said she was in front of the building. I had to ask which side and, although she didn't give me a street name, I recognized which restaurant she was in front of and went down to meet her. She was very patiently waiting, rocking out to Christian country music, and not at all upset about having to call me three times. The driver was well dressed, in a suit, and the car was clean and spacious. It wasn't in mint condition because, well, it is a car that gets a lot of use. But it was clearly cleaned regularly with no trash or debris and all parts functional. She seemed like she'd have been happy to talk but since I was distracted, she didn't try to force conversation, either. I was impressed by the signage on the windows, back seat, and tech. Could be that I don't get out much. But I felt safe and secure in the fact that I was with a creditable company and a certified driver who would charge me the legal fixed rate and let me pay by credit card. She did and made sure I got a receipt for reporting purposes which was awesome. The trip followed the shortest and fastest route and the driving was safe. Would I call this company again? Yes. Would I use their website again? Yes for getting an estimate/quote and for finding out how close operating cars are but still no for making the reservation. Guess I'm just old school like that.
