This has been my favorite restaurant for over a year now. First off, it's set in a perfect location, just to the East of Hotel Valley Ho; in the third oldest house in Scottsdale. The ambience is something out of an F Scott Fitzgerald novel. The spacious front patio is set in a rose garden with beautiful lighting. The inside, with chandeliers and textured golden walls, is absolutely beautiful, and complete with a built in bar that I love to sit at and chat with the bartender. The House Brasserie delightfully ends up being a mix of historic quaintness with modern luxury.
Everything I've ordered at House Brasserie I've loved. I usually let my friends/guests decide what to order and share family style because every option is too good-- I get overwhelmed choosing. The service is excellent and I love being surprised by extra appetizers 'compliments of the chef.' The handcrafted drinks are unique and delicious. If you are one of the rare people in this world who likes fernet, try the House Call! It's my favorite.
I'm also always appreciative of nice/fancy bathrooms. I love how the bathrooms are in the converted shed/garage and incredibly well done.
Don't pass this up if you are looking for an all-around excellent experience on your next culinary adventure!
