  • If you're not looking for buffet style & self grill, then don't come here. My Dad tells me Sura reminds him of places he likes to go in Korea that are the same exact concept - self grill and self pick. And it is just that (plus that spicy Korean crab that is dinner only - his personal fav). I don't mind the buffet style, the banchan and the grilled fishes and soups are very good. I'm not fond of the sushi but I do like everything else. The kimchi is spicy, their samjang is salty but very tasty. I like to wrap my meat with samjang, garlic and kimchi inside a piece of lettuce. Kimchi and fish on the grill are also sooo good n I love the kalbi, thinly sliced beef, spicy pork belly - I love it all. I enjoy coming here with my family and it reminds me of grilling at home, minus the clean up! If you don't finish your food - you can't take it home because it's not a la carte. The cost is actually not bad and it is true you could go to somewhere else in town for a similar dining experience, however, Sura is a place where I don't mind the freedom or the dining style. My water glass is never empty and neither is my belly. That's about all I can ask for!
