| - I've been coming here for years, but when my contract is up in December I won't be renewing it. The machines are nice, but the main thing I use the gym for is to swim. Unfortunately, the entire wet area, which includes the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room is closed indefinitely for renovations. I mainly use the gym for the pool and I pay extra to go to a 24 Hour that has a pool. I never received an email or anything from them saying the pool would be closed for months. I went to the gym with all my pool gear, walked to the back and saw the sign about the closure. I asked the guy at the front when it would reopen. He said "maybe sometime in October." He said while the pool at the Silverado location is closed, the location on Wigwam and Pecos would accept the Silverado people to swim in the pool there. So I went to the Wigwam location and the guy had no idea what I was talking about, so he didn't let me swim. He told me I should upgrade to workout at all locations because it's the same price I'm paying now, but when I looked it up it's actually another $10 a month. So basically right now I'm paying $29.99 and I can't swim until they renovate the pool. Also, at the Silverado location I rarely see the people who are supposed to be working the front. When I do see them, they're sitting there eating Panda Express or reading comic books and don't acknowledge me when I walk in. I'll be joining LVAC or EOS Fitness when my contract is up because their customer service is better and it costs less
