| - This review is only for their Hooter's Restaurant.
When I first moved to Vegas, I was really excited that they had a Hooter's restaurant as I'm a big fan of their wings, fries and fried pickles. Located in the Hooter's Hotel at the corner of Tropicana and Las Vegas Boulevard, this restaurant is comparative to most Hooters.
Decorations, girls, food and drink are pretty much the same. Just different location. They obviously are looking for a certain look of girl when hiring them. They don't have to particularly nice, just got to be skinny with big boobs. I came to this location several times in the two years that I lived in Vegas and was waited on my a different girl each time. Some seemed nice, but most of the girls were just blah..no personality at all. They are your typical stuck up Vegas girls.
Food for the most part was always fresh and tasty. Wings are a hit or miss. Taste wise, they are always good, but sometimes you get big wings with lots of meat and sometimes they're tiny and hardly no meat on them. Their curly fries are delicious!! Fried pickles are another favorite of mine, but unfortunately this location didn't do a good job at making them crispy. I would always ask for extra crisy, but they'd still come out soggy with tons of grease at the bottom. I liked how their kitchen is open, so I was always able to see the guys cooking up my food. Food usually came out fast, even when they were very busy. I think I only had to wait once for a table.
Overall, this is an okay location. If you want a fairly cheap place to eat wings on the Vegas strip, I'd recommend this place.
