  • I received a very poor massage from a massage therapist named Jessica. She was not trained well. At one point, while massaging my back, she got up on the massage table and straddled me! The room was not very nice either. The sheets on the massage bed did not look clean. When I came out of the room I gave her a $10 tip. The receptionist, FIVI, insisted that there was a minimum of the $15 tip for a 90 minute massage! I tried to explain that tips are optional that I did not have to give one at all... Fivi insisted I give $15 to this massage therapist! Bad massage and bad business. I would not recommend the Avalon day spa to anyone.
