I've been reading reviews and check ins for Sora for a while now, so we've been itching to try it. Unfortunately our opinions didn't match those of others. The building isn't very inviting, but that's to be expected in Chinatown. The inside was decent but can get quite loud if there are a lot of people with such a confined space. The ramen itself, I thought, was very bland and lacking flavor. I didn't like not having the option of different noodles as is with many other ramen houses. I really wish they would offer the garlic and pickled ginger on the table as well.
As far as service, not too bad. After we were done eating, no one came to check on us or bring our check so I had to go retrieve it after about 15 minutes. Other than that, they were friendly and had no problems with the order.
All in all, we tried it but probably won't be going back. There are too many other ramen houses to try.
