Just moved to Vegas from the Bay Area, so I was in search for a new barber. After seeing the high ratings for this place, I decided to give them a chance. I had a bad feeling when I saw the sign that said "$5 off if you write a Yelp review," but I tried to be optimistic.
This review is mainly for my barber who I found unprofessional. I told him what kind of cut I wanted and he seemed to know exactly what to give me. At the end, it wasn't close to what I wanted. During the haircut, he seemed distracted because he kept talking to his coworkers and he was rushing the cut. I don't know if he was rushing to cut the next person, but he did say he was hungry to his friend. He was pretty aggressive during the cut. He kept grabbing my head like I was a mannequin and hitting my head with the comb. During the cut, he stopped and decided to look at pictures on Snapchat for five minutes. He made my hard part really thick too. When I asked to put gel in my hair, that's all he did. He didn't even comb it or anything. When he brought the mirror, my hair looked like a mess (uncombed) and it wasn't the right fade I said I wanted (or a fade at all). But I said everything was fine because I didn't want to need to get a neck massage after treating my head like a bobblehead and I was scared he would somehow make the cut worse since he was in a rush. He didn't put any alcohol or use a hot towel after to clean my head either... I still tipped him 20% because I'm in the service industry too. (For haircuts, I usually tip 40%)
I felt like I could've got my cut at a Chinese barbershop for half the price and it would've been better. I will not be coming back to this place. And I certainly will tell people not to come here.
