What I really like in Montreal is the french food and if I have the possibility to get some 'Moules et frites' (mussels fries) I can't resist. Ok it's not rocket science - haute cuisine - to make some mussels with a good sauce, but they were really good. We've been there on a Saturday night in April - not high season yet. We got a table right away. Service was really friendly and also the chef passed by to ask about our well being. In one of the Yelp reviews I read that this place is a tourist trap - from my visit experience I can not confirm that - but as I said it was slow season so possibly in high season it's different because it's located in a very popular area in the old town. Overall the prices were reasonable for the location also playing life music. We enjoyed the ambience and the food very much.
