  • Everything was as expected. Room was updated and clean, decent free breakfast, and really good gym (for a hotel). I had to deduct a star for the air conditioner/temperature control in the room. It wasn't particularly hot weather during my stay, but warm enough to need the A/C. The air conditioner was right next to the bed, which is fine, but the air came out with such force, and it was ridiculously frigid. I tried both the low and high fan setting and it was gale force winds either way--papers were being blown off the bed! Another small issue is that our room didn't get cleaned while we were there (2 night stay). We may have been slightly to blame, as we came back to the room to shower/change from about 1:15-2:45 p.m. (had left around 8:30 a.m. and didn't come back until after 11:00 p.m.). Maybe we missed the window? It was fine, we got an extra soap from the front desk and already had enough towels, so it didn't actually matter to us. An interesting thing about this hotel is there is a Hertz car rental attached to the building. That combined with the hotel shuttle give some decent transportation options. We did not use either, as we drove to Pittsburgh for the weekend.
