rev:text	It's quite off putting how dealerships jump so quickly to you needing a new part or to have you shove tons of money into their pockets just to figure out a simple issue. I came in there to ask a few questions as to why my speedometer would all of a sudden stop working and get stuck on 60 mph. They acted like they had no idea as to why this could be happening and immediately told me there's no way to troubleshoot it and I would need a new speedometer at 1500$. They also told me that they would need to diagnose the problem themselves for 140$ since my car is not under warranty anymore. I left very dissatisfied and a little disgusted that Shaun in service treated me like I had no idea what I was doing when if he even stepped outside to look at my MINI would know I clearly know a thing or two about these cars. Long story short I called Eurotechs a MINI technician and they explained that the car might need a simple reset by disconnecting the battery. (Funny how a SERVICE ADVISOR wouldn't know to do the same) SHADY!!!! Sure enough that did the trick. I'm saddened that a "service advisor" wouldn't know to do that when technically that's his job. But I guess they are just after your money. I should have expected that since its North Scottsdale and stuck to my gut and called MINI of Tempe since I bought and serviced my previous MINI from them AND specifically drove 30 minutes out of my way when this place is 10 minutes away from me. I'll make SURE to spread the word and steer everyone in need AWAY from this dealership.
