| - Ten minutes into my farewell to sobriety(I had been on the wagon since 2004, but
exigent circumstances had bent my arm), I was approached by a fellow pilgrim
who asked me if he could help me hold up the bar. "Indeed, sir, I can use all
the help I can get." It was a sound decision and my new friend acquitted himself well.
Our conversation was the faire you might hear in the watering holes frequented by
other raconteurs like Oscar or Tark or Stephen Colbert(bring it on Colbert, I know
a lot of big words too.)
But don't let my account give you the impression that the Breeze is a toilet populated
by drunks boring the rest of the drunks with stories they've told too many times. The
Breeze is an island with all of the amenities you would find in a tropical locale. Stout,
jerk chicken, dirty rice, cuba libre, huachinango veracruzana, and conch fritters are
all spoken here. When's the last time you had a bowl of Paella Valenciana? Never?
Well we got it here, mon. They've also got the Cajun equivalent, jambalaya.
The Breeze is online and you can check the menu out anytime you want to. They have take out too.
My new found friend and I had a great time and you will too. Check it out.
