My family and I ate here early on a Friday evening without reservations. We were seated immediately. I liked the ambiance very much but felt the food did not live up to the upscale atmosphere. We would have been happier at any number of chain Italian restaurants that do not make their food from scratch.
I had the cream of mushroom soup that tasted like Campbell's, fortunalty... I like Campbells. I asked the waiter if the pasta was made fresh... NO. So I ordered the one item that is made fresh... the gnocchi. It was very mushy like paste and the sauce tasted like it came from a can. We also tried the pesto pasta which was meh. We did not finish any of our pasta courses. We skipped the main course and went straight to the dessert. Once again, I ordered the only thing made fresh in house which was the cream brûlée. It was from the fridge... cold in the center and also meh. The other dessert we tried was the chocolate cheese cake, not made on the premises, which was good.
