  • I would have rated today's lunch spot 5 stars if there were a few more options, but my lentil soup (from Green Owl Cafe) was delicious, although Vanessa didn't seem to enjoy her Miso soup w/ tofu and carrots quite as much as I did mine. The atmosphere and attentive service were delightful. I'm glad I didn't pay attention to my Google Maps copilot last night and discovered Mother Fool's Coffeehouse and this lovely neighborhood. The vegan hot chocolate was just right for this snow covered day in Madison.
