  • I haven't been a fan of fancy or trendy restaurants lately, so I was a bit hesitant about Sushi Roku. Located in the W in Scottsdale, we pulled up to the valet among Maseratis and Range Rovers. I immediately missed my t-shirt, baseball hat and sports bars! BUT... that all changed when we sat down. The service was amazing, we felt welcome and comfortable, and we were given all kinds of amazing suggestions for food. The pricing was on the higher end, but fair, and the quality of fish and other items made it VERY apparent that these people REALLY care about their product. SUSHI/RAW RECOMMENDATIONS: Fluke Kumquat Sakana Roll Tuna Tartare COOKED RECOMMENDATIONS: Shishito Japanese Peppers Chilean Seabass (the BEST I've ever had) Beef Ribeye Wrapped Asparagus Grilled Octopus DESSERT RECOMMENDATION: Lemon Sorbet with Raspberry Coulis (has a home-made granola and fresh raspberries...OUTSTANDING)
