| - How was this my first time finally getting to Viva Las Arepas?
After seeing all the great press, driving by it a million times, and bookmarking it 8 years ago (ish), I finally made it in. My 2nd visit will be much quicker!
The vibe inside is friendly and clean, with a cool patio. It's not fancy, but it is definitely above Roberto's.
Each arepa is about $5. Pair it with a side of beans or grilled veggies and a soda and you're about $10. Pretty affordable.
Most important: the food is really good. Meats are excellent, the arepa itself is doughy, but with that corn texture. Yum.
Good for lunch, dinner, kids, adults. Next door to the best gelato ever (except it's never open). They serve beer, too!
