Called up for a residential drywall job. We agreed to meet at a certain day and time (I let him choose when). I rearranged my schedule to be sure I could be at the house at that time. I waited for TWO hours and didn't receive any text or call. I finally had to go to work and texted him that I had been waiting, and was now leaving. He managed to respond right away to that text, admitted he was running late and "was going" to text me (best practice is to text when you realize you will be late, not hours after the appointment...).
It was extremely frustrating as, like most people, I do have a life and other commitments. There is no excuse for disrespecting someone else's time when it takes moments to send a text message to cancel or reschedule.
I'll be finding someone else to complete the job.
