  • I really want to love La Bettola. It has great ambience, great staff and great pedigree. Unfortunately the food doesn't share the same calibre of greatness. It's good, the pasta especially. But honestly, not spectacular. On my last visit, I had the whole sea bass, which was one of the daily specials. I'm not sure if it was the quality of the fish or that it was slightly overcooked, either way it wasn't the best that I've had. It's unfortunate because everything else there is great.. So much so that I'm determined to keep going back until I've gone through the entire menu. Everyone deserves a second chance, right? ;)
