  • Get your BBQ fix at my overall favorite BBQ joint in Charlotte. I've only been to the Plaza Midwood location but it has brought me back multiple times. The restaurant vibe is less of your old-timey country kitchen and more of a casual-hip roadhouse feel with a touch of junkyard. The bacon wrapped jalapenos appetizers are usually a fan favorite of my group. I always like to order from the classic BBQ plates section, with the mixed fatty and lean beef brisket leading the way. The more fun and recommended selection is to go with a combo platter to share with a friend(s)! You get to mix it up and find your own favorite taste. Drinks are plentiful with many cold beers and crafty cocktail selections. There are multiple dining spaces to accommodate for different occasions. Importantly, the wait staff have always been friendly and fun, eager to give you popular recommendations.
