What a nice Greek spot in the middle of the desert. For many years I would pass by this place but never got the chance to check it out. After work, I finally decided to complete another restaraunt that was bookmarked in my app for awhile. I'm so happy that I did, because I had great experience at Yassou. The moment you walk in this place, you'll notice the Greek artwork and typical blue and white motif that is allover the restaraunt. There is a cool story along the wall about the history of the restaraunt. Greek music in the background is played throughout and the open kitchen provided a cool interaction between guests and employees.
Onto the food, everything was simply delicious from the Lemon Chicken Pita combo with Greek Fries to the Chicken Souvlaki meal was spot on. They make really good Pita bread and the Tzaziki Sauce was delicious. The Chicken was tender and really seasoned just right. Every bite of my Lemon Chicken had a refreshing taste yet balanced savory flavor. Another item that stood out was the fresh Baklava, very good and made just right. Great amount of sweetness and crunch with a moist texture. I would come back to try out more of the other dishes that they offer in the near future.
Another cool thing about this place was when I went to use the Restroom, I notice that there is a Patio to the left side facing Charleston Blvd was a cool dinning option during days when Vegas has mild weather. The Restroom was clean but I had to share this experience because when I used one of the Restroom. I immediately notice a blue bottle to the corner and couldnt contain myself because it was Windex. All I could think of was, "My Big Fat Greek Wedding!" LoL.
