This was very disappointing. The building and location are very beautiful. Good luck finding street parking. It is a zoo. Parking is $9 in the museum structure next door if you get validation. We did not get validation and paid $11. No big deal. Short walk to the hall of fame. Buy tickets online to save time. The line for the ticket counter was super long. You get a wristband so you can come and go as you please all day long. They hand you a visitor guide, BUT there is NO MAP. We got lost on the first or ground floor (not sure, no map) and circled back twice because everything looks the same and we didn't have map. Visitor Guide should definitely have a map of each floor. Even better signage on the walls would have helped.
This place was so crowded. Way too crowded to enjoy much of anything. I am short so it was difficult to see any of the displays. I understand that the displays rotate depending on who is inducted and such. I was pretty bored. Too much fluff. Missing a large amount of worthy artists. The best display had to be Jimi Hendrix. Rolling Stone was the featured display on the top levels. But it really was not that exciting. I could have seen most of this stuff online for free without the parking and overcrowding hassle. You can take photos or video, just no flash. I had more fun sitting outside on the dock people watching. Even my husband, who is a professional musician, was very disappointed. We won't be going back. You should probably save your money too. Even though Paisley Park wasn't the best; it far exceeded this waste of time.
