| - We ordered the Chicken tofu panang curry, a deep fried duck dish, and the appetizer shrimp cold rolls.
The chicken tofu panang curry is to die for. Both my GF and I loved it. It was thick, sweet, tasty, spicy, all that a Thai dish should be. I think we both rated it the best from the thai restaurants we've been. The cold rolls in rice sheets were also super good, but what made it great was that warm peanut sauce that came with it. It was peanut creamy, sweet and rich tasting. Also a high ranker.
The duck dish was the only thing I thought was OK. They really tried to pad their pricing by including duck dishes and Sea bass. There's really no reason to order the duck dish, since it wasn't really very good anyways. It was a mix of really heavy tasting thai spices, and it was too much for my senses or distinguish any kind of flavor. Just too strong in my opinion.
Weera makes me a fan. Also I really enjoyed the way the restaurant looked and how the walls were decorated. It's pretty nice ambiance for a date.
Edit: 4/16
Were Back again! During lunch this time. Unfortunately lunch was a big dissapointment. The portion of the lunch specials was half the dinner portion. To compensate they include fillers, a salad, a spring roll, a bowl of watered down tom yum soup. Biggest issue, was the food Must have been cooked by the sous chef. The red curry was super watery and the fresh spring rolls that we loved so much last time, the peanut sauce was watered down and full of starch and not rich peanut flavored. Was 100% different and not remotely good. i probably wont come here during lunch time. Ill try this place at dinner again to see if its a consistency issue
