  • The best cupcakes I've ever eaten! My favourite has to be the lemon cupcake. Like the chocolate, the icing is super light and actually tastes real!! Hard to find in a world filled with processed food. The ganache filing in the bigger sized chocolate cupcake is a little overwhelming IMO, as it does have a much richer, denser taste than the fluffy cake part however, not bad. The lemon cupcake and the others I got (I believe maple, cookies and creme) did not have any filling The next time I go to Old Firehall, I'll think of getting the smaller cupcakes as the large ones are ALOT, very very sweet so be prepared lol Going to this place is an experience. It's such a beautiful area, it's the type of place you'd go to have a picnic and snag some goodies I also tried their 'Moose Tracks' ice cream and by god it was the most delicious ice cream I've ever eaten. It had little Reese's pieces in it!! I'm getting excited just reminiscing.. If you haven't gone to Old Firehall yet, I highly suggest you travel from wherever you are and get yourself some sweets
