I needed to stay an additional evening in Vegas after being here for 5 days for the CES convention and working 7:30 am to almost 3:30 am nightly. I drove from the Bay Area and told the registration I needed a good night sleep to be able to drive the 7+ hours home.
I fall asleep no later than 9pm and am awoken to loud thumping crystal clear club music at 12:30am. They put me in a room above the nightclub and next to an additional one next door. I tried sleeping through it. I tried downloading a white noise app to drown it out. I finally called the front desk at 3am clearly upset and exhausted. I asked to be moved to a new room and was flat out told they were fully booked. Which is a lie- I checked.
Their solution was to refund me a $30 resort fee. Gee thanks considering my husband had to BUY A PLANE ticket to come here so he can drive me home bc I didn't sleep. LITERALLY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE with no consideration for the guest or their needs. I opened a fraud case with my bank bc I was sold one thing and delivered something else.
