  • My experience was "alright." My Yorkie had blood in her poop and I was super concerned. I went in at 7pm, and there was no line up. I was the only person in the waiting area, but I wasn't seen for like 20 minutes . The vet himself, was nice & informative with what was going on with my dog.... HOWEVER - it seemed that he was more concerned with trying to upsell than give me necessary into about my actual dog. -- He kept saying that I needed to have a general medication for my dog. I told him why don't I just get you a poop sample then give me her specific medication? & Then he tried giving me some BS that she needs to be medicated immediately although he said before that "this issue (that he thinks is the most likely culprit) is common. If it is that common, I'd have no issue coming in the next day dropping off a poop sample. I'm sure my Yorkie would be fine for one night unmedicated for a "common issue." - he also suggested that once we figure out what kind of illness she has...that I need to give a poop sample every week...which I thought was absurd cause a poop sample is $80ish dollars! I'm a student, I can't afford to do this over and over again. I might as well wait til her meds are done so we can check. I don't need a progression check. I mean, Its decent, but id stick with my normal vet in Woodbridge.
