Let me begin by saying that if you walk into this business as an informed consumer, you've already out-classed the joint. These people are looking for fish without the gall to call out salesman claims and the sticker price on the vehicle. With out too awful much detail, they are dishonest. Salesman had me to the dealership on 4 separate occasions and couldn't close the deal on a used 2015 Silverado that had been there 70 plus days with no price adjustment on the lot. "Cip" is your typical say anything salesman that will make up things as he goes. I was VERY aware of the years, make, models, and packages that I was looking at and what the local market values them at. I clearly knew more than my salesman at a Chevy dealer lot. Kept my mouth shut and just laughed at him really. I played their game, back and forth'd with the sales MGR, even had an overnight with the truck I was most interested in. Ended up buying a 2015 Silverado that was a better package from a PRIVATE SELLER for $3000 less, tax-free (another $2500), and no Ed Bozarth $500 paperwork fee. How about you pay for that paperwork in the price of the truck instead of some surprise gotcha move at the end. Feel free to use their financing so that they can add percentage points on top of what you'd otherwise pay at a local credit union. Oh, but they do have great bottled water.
Here's a pic of my new truck no thanks to this dealership.
