  • A 1 Minute Key Services were on-time, courteous, and straight-forward. I initially spoke with someone over the phone and then my phone number was passed to one of the technicians who was out in the east valley. The man on the phone stated that the technician would call you when he was on his way and that I should expect the technician to arrive in approximately 1 hour. This is exactly what happened, the technician (Nick) showed up 1 hour later and I showed him my problem. I had a security door deadbolt that was locked and would not unlock. So I could not enter/exit the front entrance to my house. And with company coming over in the evening, I had to have this fixed so that people didn't have to enter through my garage. The deadbolt was probably 25 years old, and as Nick inspected the issue, he showed me that there was a piece that was missing and thus not allowing it to unlock from the locked position. His suggestion was to either fix the lock or replace, but his emphasis was on replacing with a new lock because fixing this lock may only bandaid the issue and it could happen again. So, I asked to replace both the deadbolt and the door handle to the security door, because replacing just he deadbolt would cause me to have 2 mismatching pieces on my security door. I then asked if he had bronze/antique deadbolt & handle. Nick said that he did not have them on hand, but one of his colleagues who was close by did. So Nick went and got the bronze deadbolt and handle from the other technician. Nick easily removed the old lock in a jiffy, then he replaced both the broken deadbolt and the door handle with my new bronze/antique deadbolt & handle. I really appreciate the work and the courtesy the Nick showed me throughout the process. I felt that he was honest and straight-forward with me about the issue and what he thought the best solution is long-term. I also appreciated that they were able to swipe my credit card using Square, giving me security that my credit card number wouldn't be compromised. Thanks A 1 Minute Key Services.
