Cugino's is a lot like a place that I visit back home in Austin in that it's an Italian market with various deli products and groceries as well as a counter with an Italian menu to order from. Unlike the place in Austin, though, Cugino's is decidedly un-trendy. It's in a strip shopping center near the UNLV campus. And unlike other trendier options, Cugino's tends towards East Coast Italian-American dining as opposed to more "authentic" options.
I had a slice of their regular cheese pizza and a slice of their Sicilian thick crust. Both were good, but the Sicilian stole the show, if for nothing else than the extra sauce.
It's a great option for a very quick lunch away from the tourist areas of Vegas -- and at a fair price.
