| - I have been to over 4 different Americas Best C. & E.G. locations around the Charlotte-metro area & I have had the best, most consistent, great experience at this one in particular over 7x's within the past few years!! Just as full disclosure: I'm not friends with anyone here, none of them are family, I was never given a gift card, free service, or asked to write this review. I am brutally honest & try to be objective in my views. That said: the whole staff is absolutely consistent & amazing. Very courteous, respectful, humble, professional, and knowledgeable. The store is clean, i've never seen a disgruntled customer here, & all the employees have a great team work can-do attitude. I drive all the way from Mt. Holly to come to this location because they are that good. Give them a shot, you won't regret it at all.
1. LaJanel & Melody the receptionist(s) are both sweethearts over the phone & in person, always overly accommodating with setting up/changing my many appointments.
2. Dani, she's an associate that helps you find the right C.L's & E.G's, she's college aged & soft-spoke, yet make no mistake she is incredibly professional & intelligent. She's not afraid to make sure that you have the best eyeglasses pair possible & the absolute correct contact lenses before you leave. Side note: She has worked at multiple other A.B.C & E.G.'s locations including the Rock Hill location where I initially experienced her service 3 yrs. Her father also works at a location I visited.
2. The Optometrist Physician here is Dr. Henderson. Where to begin? The man is extremely professional, diligent, intelligent, and doesn't ever rush you & takes extra time to answer any concerns you might have, he breaks down eye-related-lingo to simplify answers & help you understand what your eyes are experiencing. His personality & laid-back demeanor is super welcoming & refreshing too in a professional setting. He walks that fine line very well. Added bonus: Dr. Henderson literally resembles a handsomer version of Rob Schneider as Duece Bigalow & the guy is seriously hilarious also too. SNL needs to give this guy a few cameo spots because he will have you cracking up & enjoying what can be a dreaded experience. The staff also isn't afraid to boast about their overwhelmingly positive views about him, their work environment, as well as the General Manager Necole.
3. The GM Necole is also absolutely phenomenal. I mean overwhelmingly outstanding professional, yet courteous demeanor & she runs a tight ship. She has many times gone above & beyond addressing my questions about my prescription, visits, etc. I've seen her be receptionist, consultant, helping find trial contacts for patients...she's all over the place & I don't mean chronologically. It's refreshing to see a GM who is clearly intelligent, classy, yet isn't afraid to humble herself & step into different roles depending on the need & level of business. She's such a pleasant woman & very inviting. It's obviously clear that Necole's #1 interest is making sure customers have a lovely experience, making sure their eye care needs are attended to & resolved, on building repeat clientele, & not solely on pushing profits. Kudos to her & to all the employees here!!
