For a Renaissance hotel, this place is not up to snuff- it's an older hotel refurbished with nice new furnishings, but it suffers from unreliable elevators, walls that couple the sound between adjoining rooms exceptionally well, showerheads so short that you need to be 5'4" to get your head under the showerhead without bending over, and a fitness room that is well-equipped with treadmills, reasonably equipped with weight machines, but very sorely lacking in terms of square footage and free weights. The hotel staff are very very nice people who work very hard to make you happy, but despite having status with Marriott's Rewards program, I will stay someplace else the next trip I take to Phoenix. There is literally no comparison between this Renaissance and other Renaissance hotels- I am very disappointed after my previous Renaissance stays in other cities.
