| - This location of Curry Zen is located on an overcrowded along with few other popular restaurants in the same strip mall, parking can be very limited during peak hours. They do have a fast turnover rate at this place, and table free up rather quick for the times we visited them.
First time I was there was in a hurry, the curry was rather plain here, and their explanation was because their curry is so good that they do not need anything else beside the sauce... a bit too proud? The flavor was just ok from all the curry I had eaten around the world. Another time I avoid the curry, and got Katsudon instead, and it was actually much better choice, and they made the right way too.
Other starters we tried were Deep Fried Shumai and Takoyaki. Shumai was just "meh", a bit too dried, and bland. The takoyaki was just ok as well, a bit too floury on the inside.
I guess my expectation was a bit high being in Vegas and all, but Curry Zen would not be a first choice for me if I had a craving for Japanese cooked dish. The staffs seemed like they have an attitude problem too.
